YOGA
„Perfection is not inherent—it is the result of struggling with weaknesses.”
Teacher
From very far away, something penetrated my consciousness, persistently drawing my attention. A faint thought surfaced:
“Someone is calling out to me,” because I was deeply within myself at that moment… I opened my eyes—I needed a few seconds to return to the external world. Then I saw a face looking at me with a look of disgust. On a large boulder stood an older woman, leaning toward me.
- „Excuse me, is this some kind of cult?”—she saw something in her imagination that could only be a cult.
- „This is yoga”—I wanted to close my eyes as quickly as possible…
- „What is yoga?”—this time the question combined disgust and genuine surprise.
- „Sorry, I don’t have time for conversations”—I finally closed my eyes.
…Meditation…
Yes, yoga! We were a few people, sitting in the „lotus” position on both sides of a mountain waterfall. For many people, the message is clear—the position indicates that someone is meditating.
So what is yoga?
It is a process of self-discovery, and through that, discovering the world we live in. It is about unlocking hidden human potentials such as clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, and many others. It is about discovering worlds previously hidden from us, expanding our consciousness and knowledge. It can be compared to a person born blind and deaf, who cannot experience the fullness of their surroundings. For such a person, the world will always be a black, soundless void. Similarly, those whom we consider healthy and normal are also impaired, as they lack many unknown senses that can be awakened through special yoga techniques. Using these techniques, the entire evolution required for the development of paranormal senses can be condensed into a single lifetime, greatly expanding our knowledge and ability to understand the world we live in.
„Knowledge is the true goal of human life.” – Teacher.
Opening paranormal abilities is not the goal of yoga—it is merely a sign that you are on the right path.
The true goal of yoga is immortality!
An inscription in ancient Egyptian temples of the priests stated:
„Humans are mortal gods.
Gods are immortal humans.”
This path is only for the strong, determined individuals who do not wish to live like the overwhelming majority around them. Yoga is not limited to stretching exercises or body flexibility (asanas). Yoga is a revolution in consciousness achieved through hard, systematic self-work. Through a whole range of universal and perfect techniques requiring determination, we develop powerful willpower, discipline of body and mind, without which transformation cannot occur.
Yoga has its gate—a code of moral disciplines, commands, and prohibitions. A person wishing to enter the world of yoga must have strong moral principles; if they do not, they will be rejected! However, one must not confuse the goal with the condition. The code is only a condition!
Living in society requires many duties and exposes us to many temptations. Adhering to ethical disciplines, as well as an ascetic lifestyle, is much more complicated and challenging in the civilized world than in a Himalayan cave.
The true Himalayas are here, with their valleys, chasms, and peaks!
I always emphasize—one can adjust all social obligations to yoga—it must come first! That is the determination I spoke of.
It is important to be aware of what you expect from yoga, namely; what is your goal—health, beauty, or something else? This is important because true yoga with a true goal does not limit itself to practicing asanas and attending group classes, as it involves a strict regimen of daily solitary practice of asanas, pranayama, meditation, as well as strict adherence to a vegan diet, fasting, and the exclusion of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and stimulants. Nothing is done according to personal preferences or weaknesses—everything is done according to its requirements—yoga begins with discipline, and then self-discipline will follow and remain forever.
Once you make a serious effort, new guidance will begin to come, often during meditation about yoga practices that will lead to the goal—immortality. Such insights will not come from a yoga instructor, nor will you find them in books or on the Internet…
And again, what is yoga?
It is an ever-living system, a gift to all thinking beings from a civilization unimaginably far ahead on the evolutionary path.
