YOGA

“Perfection is not innate – it is the result of fighting against weaknesses.”

Teacher

From afar, something penetrated my consciousness, insistently drawing attention.
A thought barely broke through:

“Someone is addressing me,” because at this moment I am deeply within myself… I opened my eyes – it took me a few seconds to return to the external world. Then I saw a face looking at me with an expression of disgust. On a large rock, an older woman was leaning towards me.

  • “Excuse me, is this some kind of sect?” – she saw something that, in her imagination, could only be a sect.
  • “It’s yoga” – I wanted to close my eyes again as quickly as possible…
  • “What is yoga?” – this time, the question combined disgust and sincere astonishment.
  • “I’m sorry, I don’t have time for conversations” – finally, I closed my eyes.

…Meditation…

Yes, yoga! There were a few of us, sitting in the “lotus” position on both sides of a mountain waterfall. For many people, the message is clear – this position indicates that someone is meditating.

What then, is yoga?

It is the process of discovering oneself and through that, discovering the world in which we live. It’s about unlocking hidden human potentials, such as clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, and many others. It’s discovering worlds previously hidden from us, expanding our consciousness and knowledge. It can be likened to a person born blind and deaf, who cannot experience the fullness of what surrounds them. For such a person, the world will always be a black, soundless void. Likewise, those we consider to be healthy, normal individuals – they too are impaired because they are deprived of many unknown senses, which can be awakened with special yoga techniques. Through these techniques, the entire future evolution needed for the development of paranormal senses can be condensed into one lifetime, greatly expanding knowledge and the ability to understand the world we live in.

“Knowledge is the true goal of human life.” – Teacher.

Unlocking paranormal abilities is not the goal of yoga – it’s merely an indication that you’re on the right path.

The true goal of efforts in yoga – is immortality!

An inscription in the ancient Egyptian temples of priests proclaimed:

“Humans are mortal gods.
Gods are immortal humans.”

This path is only for the strong, determined individuals who do not want to live as the overwhelming majority around them. Yoga is not just limited to exercises for stretching or body flexibility (asanas). Yoga is a revolution in consciousness, achieved through hard, systematic self-work. By employing a series of universal and perfect techniques, requiring determination, we develop a powerful will, discipline of body and mind, without which transformation cannot occur.

Yoga has its gate – a code of moral disciplines, commandments, and prohibitions. A person wishing to enter the world of yoga must have firm moral principles; if they do not, they will be rejected! The code is merely a condition, not to be confused with the goal.

Living in society requires us to fulfill many duties and exposes us to many temptations. Adhering to the ethics of moral disciplines, as well as an ascetic lifestyle, is much more complicated and difficult to execute in the civilized world than in a Himalayan cave.

The real Himalayas are here, with their valleys, abysses, and peaks!

I always emphasize – all social duties can be adapted to yoga – it comes first! This is the determination I spoke of.

It is important to be aware of what you expect from yoga, namely; what your goal is – health, beauty, or something else? This is important because true yoga with a real goal is not limited to practicing asanas and meeting in groups for classes, but it is a strict regimen of daily performed asanas, pranayama, meditation, alone, as well as, strict adherence to a vegan diet and fasting, excluding alcohol, tobacco, all kinds of narcotics and stimulants. We do nothing according to our own discretion or weakness – everything only according to its demands – yoga begins with discipline, and then self-discipline appears and remains forever.

Someday, if you try very hard, new directions will begin to come, most often during meditation about yoga practices that will lead you to the goal – immortality!

So again, what is yoga?

It is an eternally living system, a gift to all thinking beings from a civilization unimaginably far ahead on the evolutionary path.
